My wedding.
I was not a bridezilla. A friend picked wildflowers the morning of our wedding and arranged them in bouquets. Everyone snapped photos. My parents shucked peas. The entire wedding party, all 5 of us, rehearsed the ceremony in our bathing suits. And Freddie drove down from Firenze to scratch some records, literally.
The only thing I demanded on my wedding day was a lovely location in the Italian countryside.
And that's what I got.
Renting a villa can actually be an affordable option for a wedding day. We secured this villa for an entire week for the same price as a 4-hour winery rental in Napa Valley. The best part was that the wedding lasted an entire week! Plus, all of our guests stayed in Italy and traveled after our wedding week making a lifetime of memories for everyone. We loved it!
