I've decided to tackle all of the "Lotta" projects I have been dreaming about doing for the last year. Now that I have so many new books arriving in the mail any day now, I want to catch up.
Lotta used to have a little studio over on Post Street in San Francisco which I loved to visit. She now resides in Brooklyn where those lucky locals can take one of her print making classes. Lucky for us, she has also published a book!
Cup of Joe. My first rubber stamp EVER!
Garden party.
Stacking blocks. You can expect to see some holiday gift wrap made from this design.
Still practicing, needs improvement.
Vacuuming required.
I took a woodblock print making class at Craft Gym in San Francisco several months ago. I was quite pleased with my imperfect poppies but the pain and patience it took to carve the damn thing was a bit of a turn-off. I think I'll stick with the soft rubber from now on.
good job! i love these!!
