Recycled Calendar Tags

I hope this craft idea isn't coming a few days too late...

I was about to toss my 2009 calendar into the recycling bin when I had the idea to turn it into gift tags for the new year.  The graphics, the numbers, days of the weeks, and months make for some cute tags.  Don't you think?

 

I bought this tag punch during one of JoAnn's many 50% off sales and I have found so many uses for it already.  I highly recommend buying one, you won't need to buy gift tags ever again!

OK, now those are way cute. I've seen those tag punches before but they never inspired me. I might have to think about getting one now...
